ROGERS LAWSONVILLE Annie “Miss Annie” Louise Marshall Rogers, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday afternoon January 26, 2023 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection, Stuart VA. Miss Annie was born in Stokes County, NC on August 25, 1935 to the late Howard and Ida Lowe Gerry Marshall. She was retired from Stokes Reynolds Hospital and was a member of Salem Chapel Christian Church. Miss Annie loved animals, country music, and dancing. She cared deeply for her extended family and friends. But to “Granny Annie” family was most important, she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren fiercely, with all her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kenneth Rogers, and sister, Mary Elizabeth Marshall Coe. Miss Annie is survived by her four loving children, Jeffrey K. Rogers (Donna) of Lawsonville, Randall E. Rogers of Lawsonville, Howie Rogers (Lisa) of Lawsonville, and Pamela “Pam” Fulp (Kent) of Westfield; 9 grandchildren, Justin Rogers (Jamie), Luke Fulp (Morgan), Meagan Lawson (Andy), Landon Fulp (Cana), Logan Fulp (Ashleigh), Dillon Rogers (Shelby), Brittany Cresong (Cameron), Morgan Rogers (Willow) and Joel Mabe; 6 great grandchildren, Harper Fulp, Jacob Lawson, Maggie Lawson, Conner Fulp, Lane Rogers and Landrie Fulp; sisters, Pauline Carmichael and Ida Mae Marshall; her heart sister and best friend, Bertie Tilley and her fur babies, dog “Rusty” and cat “Charlie.” There will be a 2:00 pm funeral service held on Sunday January 29, 2023 at the Burroughs Chapel with Pastor Tracey Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the Rogers Family Cemetery, Hart Road, Lawsonville. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Saturday January 28, 2023 at Burroughs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brenner’s Children’s Hospital, 1 Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
