Dustin Brock Neal August 26, 1985 – March 17, 2025 With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Dustin Brock Neal, 39 on March 17, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and love touched everyone who knew him. Born in Winston-Salem, Dustin was a lifelong resident of Pine Hall, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and career. Dustin found purpose in his work as a funeral director, offering comfort and care to families in their most difficult times. Always striving for more, he was eagerly looking forward to a new chapter in life, as he was set to graduate this year with a degree in Criminal Justice. Above all, Dustin’s greatest joy in life was his beloved niece, Emery. There wasn’t a day that passed without him sharing a story, a picture, or a moment of pride about her. His love for her was unmatched, and his family and friends will always remember the light she brought into his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Ore Neal Dustin is survived by his father, Mike Neal; his sister, Morgan Bankert (Ben); his cherished niece, Emery Bankert; his aunt, Wanda Tarlton; his uncle, Grady Throckmorton; and many other beloved family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Dustin’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched. There will be a 2:00 pm funeral service held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Pine Hall Presbyterian Church with Pastor Wesley Bullins and Pastor Herb Mabe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 1-2 pm at Pine Hall Presbyterian Church and other times at the home of his father.
