FLETCHER MADISON Danny Andrew Fletcher, 67, went home to be with his Lord, Monday evening, February 7, 2022 at UNC Rockingham Health Care. Danny was born on June 19, 1954 in Forsyth County to the late Rev. Robert Gray and Rebecca Brithman Fletcher. He was a member of Baux Mountain Baptist Church and was retired from Yvetti. Danny was a member of the Son’s of the Confederate Soldiers and the Stokes County Militia. He played disc golf and won many trophies. Danny loved being at home more than anything. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Anders Fletcher; and his sister, Linda Whited. He is survived by his children, Melissa Fletcher and Robert James “RJ” Fletcher (Tabitha); and 7 grandchildren, Hayley, Kendall, Lauren, Kaylyn, Alyvia, Ella, and Daisy. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Burroughs Funeral Home. There will be a 12:00 pm graveside service held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Mt. Gur Cemetery: Cemetery St., Kernersville, NC, with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and facial coverings are required.
