MILLER WALNUT COVE Norma Jean Baker Miller, 72, passed away Sunday evening, April 24, 2022, Forsyth Medical Center. Norma was born on November 1, 1949, in Galax, VA to the late James Samuel and Virginia Chrisley Baker. She was a wonderful mom, sister, and friend. God made a special heart in her. We had her a short time, but we will be with her for eternity in Heaven. She will surely be missed. She was preceded in death by her father, James S. Baker; mother, Virginia C. Anders; son, Timmy Darling; 3 brothers, Gary Eugene Baker, Timothy Anders, and Ricky Anders; 1 sister, and Patsy Dalton. Norma is survived by her 3 loving sons, Bobby Baker, Dwayne Darling, and Joey Baker; father of her children, Otis Darling; 5 sisters, Mary Collins, Kathy Welch, Kitty Vernon, Alice Guthrie, and Bettie Hicks; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a 2:00 pm funeral service held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Burroughs Chapel. Burial will follow at Walnut Cove Cemetery.
