BULLINS TOBACCOVILLE Patsy Ann Mitchell Bullins, 74, went home to be with her Lord early Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022 at Woltz Hospice Home. Patsy was born on November 1, 1947 in Stokes County to the late Ernest and Sally Mitchell. She was a member at Freedom Baptist Church. Patsy was a devout Christian and loved witnessing for Christ. She was a very strong woman as well as a strong leader. Patsy was extremely patriotic and loved the military, especially the Marine Corp. She was the Mayberry Trivia Queen and enjoyed being around the younger generation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Bullins; 2 brothers, Harold Mitchell and Bill Mitchell; and her sister, Betty Wright. Patsy is survived by her 3 children, CSM William Bullins (Joyce), Ernie Bullins (Sam), and Susan Martin (Keith); 6 grandchildren, Stephanie, Cody, Stephen, Rebecca, Jacob, and Jeremiah; 5 great grandchildren, Maddox, Laykin, Grayson, Joann, Charlee Rose; sister, Mary Lou Atkins; and a brother, Jim Mitchell. There will be a 2:00 pm funeral service held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Jon White officiating. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church of Walnut Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 1 – 2 pm at Freedom Baptist Church and other times at the home of her daughter, Susan. Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and facial coverings are requested. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Patsy’s Mayberry friends.
