Wanda Guy Clark

CLARK WALNUT COVE Wanda Guy Clark, 78, went home to be with her Lord early Tuesday morning, February 1, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. Wanda was born on June 28, 1943 in Forsyth County to the late William Graham and Nellie Mae Mabe Guy. She was a member at Germanton Baptist Church and was retired from Lucent Technologies. Wanda spent a lot of time serving at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She was extremely family oriented and loved spending time and tending to her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Graham Guy. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank M. Clark; 3 children, Dwight Clark (Cindy), Jason Clark (Karrie), and Heather Dirks; 8 grandchildren, Chafin Rollins (Chelsea), Chelsie Clark, Ian Clark, Brady Clark, Miller Clark, Jackson Clark, Kenley Dirks, and Mila Dirks; 1 great granddaughter, Charlotte Rollins; 2 sisters, Carolyn Ball (Larry) and Becky Taylor (Jim); special cousin, Linda Blackburn; sister in law, Candy Guy; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be a 2:00 pm funeral service held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Burroughs Chapel with Pastor Terry Ragsdale and Pastor Justin Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 6 – 8 pm at Burroughs Funeral Home.
